We love Villeneuve, 10 minutes from Froment, because it supplies all the practicalities of life -- superb bakery, super cafe, remarkably good and inexpensive restaurant ('Terre et Galet', offers vegetarian and fish options), shops, banks etc. and does so in picture postcard surroundings. It's also remarkably untouristed. Sunday mornings bring locals to the cafe terrace and a small market to the cobbled village square. | |||||||||
