Yet another of the 'Plus Beaux Villages de France', Najac is famous for its castle and rightly so. It also has a lovely and quite affordable 'treat' restaurant -- the Belle Rive -- in the tranquil river valley beneath the castle and village itself (has a vegetarian menu too!). Najac is also reachable by the local village trainline at Salles Courbaties which makes nice trip. It has festivals and 'vide greniers' in summer.
